Biography
I have worked as a learning developer at University of Bedfordshire (UoB) since 2011. My initial role involved training and supervising peer learners for academic skills purposes. My role now involves providing one-to-one support to students and developing and reviewing learning materials. I am a CeP and a Fellow of HEA. I gained my BA Hons in English Language Studies with Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) with UoB in 2011. I have also gained my MA in Applied Linguistics with TESOL with Anglia Ruskin University as a distance learner in 2019.
How can I support Learning Developers?
I could support other learning developers with peer-assisted learning schemes, share advice on teaching strategies to use during one-to-one sessions and how to develop learning materials.
