Visual literacy development

My research has so far involved analysing all the module specifications within my institution for explicit or implicit reference to developing visual literacy skills as defined in the ACRL standards. I have also mapped these to subject benchmark statements. From this I have identified academic staff whom I wish to interview in order to identify potential bridges and possible barriers to improving visual literacy development in undergraduate students. In keeping with the visual nature of my topic, I hope to include the use of images in my interview technique although I have not yet decided on the precise method.
