Biography

As PASS and Study Skills Adviser, I interact with a diverse student body to facilitate learning in study skills and to train and supervisor PASS (and Peer Assisted Student Success) Leaders, who support learners in their first year of study with study skills, revising course content and helping learners to settle into university.

I also currently work as an art tutor within adult community learning and have founded and run an artist support programme with an art charity.

Currently, I facilitate:

  • 1-2-1 Study Skills Appointments
  • In course study and study skills sessions
  • General Workshops
  • Peer support training and supervision.

How can I support Learning Developers?

I can support other LDers by offering my insight into peer learning on topics such as developing effective training, delivering a scheme, planning PASS leader training and the facilitation of sessions. I have experience in planning and delivering teaching to a wide body of student which focuses on active learners and peer learning within the classroom. I am happy to discuss these ideas with peers.
